Direct Laminate Membrane
Motorcycle gloves with a direct laminate membrane have the best breathability function. A laminated membrane is incorporated into the fabric between the glove and the lining, keeping rain out and providing space for water vapor (sweat) to pass through the glove. This ensures that water stays outside, and warmth and moisture are carried away.

This type of membrane is waterproof and breathable and is often used in winter gloves. Since water vapor can escape from inside the glove, you won't get damp or cold hands in the glove. Additionally, this membrane does not soak up rain, so it does not become heavier. This means a direct membrane also dries faster than a loose hanging membrane.
