This is the AGV X3000, an authentic full face retro helmet from the Legends-collection: an ode to the racing era of the 50s which made this manufacturer great.

AGV X3000 specifications

The X3000 is a reproduction of the helmet that was worn by multiple champ Giacomo Agostini, but it has been equipped with all the newest technologies and it offers the maximum protection.

This classic racing helmet’s shell is made from carbon, just like the original. It’s available in three different shell sizes (XS-MS, ML-L, XL-XXL) – making the helmet as compact as possible (as less filler is needed.

The AGV X3000 weighs around 1300 grams, depending on the outer shell size.

Safety of the helmet

The helmet has an EPS foam inner shell (in three sizes) to compliment the ultra-strong and lightweight carbon outer shell. It features a double-D retention system and the helmet is of course ECE 22.05 certified – for use on the European public roads.

The front of the helmet features a clear visor which has a scratch-resistant coating. The visor also has a magnetic locking mechanism. A rubber strip can be peeled out of the top of the visor, revealing the ventilation channels.

Comfort and ventilation

The comfortable interior consists of high quality leather and textile, it’s also well breathing, removable and washable.

The hollowed ventilation channel is located behind the top of the visor, covered by a rubber strip in the rubber. If removed, the helmet will receive ample ventilation thanks to the large opening.

Availability and prices of the AGV X3000

The Nolan AGV X3000 comes in a number of different colours and designs. The prices start at €379,95 for the most basic colours, other colours and designs have higher prices.
