The outer shell is made from polycarbonate and it comes in two different shell sizes. The EPS inner-shell provides you with the necessary impact absorption in case of an accident. The neat thing about the Scorpion EXO-Combat II is that you can remove the chin bar and get that cool open face helmet look. This helmet is actually an open face helmet, it has not been certified as a full face helmet.
