Premier is one of the oldest and most historic brands in the motorcycle helmet industry. In 2014 Premier extended their collection with a retro full face helmet, which has received graphical updates as well as an improved fit and renewed components.
The Premier MX is a full face retro helmet based on the shape of the flat-trackfrom the 70s, recognisable by its eccentric chin bar – it does however meet all of the modern safety requirements. The outer shell is made from from fibreglass DCA: a mix of carbon fibre and Aramid fibre with Dyneema, reinforced with epoxy resin. This doesn’t only make the outer shell very strong, it also makes it very light. The helmet weighs around 1200 grams in total. The inner shell consists of a combination of different types of EPS for maximum impact protection.
The interior and the cheek pads are made from a hypo-allergenic material, and the synthetic leather fits the retro style of the helmet perfectly. The interior is removable and washable. The helmet can be secured with the double-D retention system, and like all other Premier helmets it has been approved according to the ECE 22.05 requirements.
