Shoei J-Cruise 3 Basalt Grey

The outer shell of the new J-Cruise 3 helmet is made from Shoei's patented AIM multi-fibre material. This material, consisting of fibreglass and organic fibres, is extremely strong while ensuring the helmet remains compact. The outer shell is available in three different sizes, ensuring you always wear the smallest possible helmet for optimal weight and comfort.

The Shoei J-Cruise 3 is equipped with a large thermoplastically formed visor that has more shape than a standard visor. At the bottom of the visor, there is a cleverly curved double edge that directs the wind along the sides of the visor, preventing wind from getting behind it. This feature encourages many motorcyclists to use the J-Cruise 3 year-round.

For owners of previous J-Cruise models, there is good news: the visor of the J-Cruise and J-Cruise II is the same as that of this new model, meaning you can reuse your old visor. This is not only more environmentally friendly but also better for your wallet! Additionally, it is possible to set the visor in a small ventilation position.

At the back of the helmet, a larger spoiler has been added, inspired by the successful Neotec 3 system helmet, which improves aerodynamics. The helmet also features Shoei’s characteristic ‘ducktail’ diffuser. The ventilation of the J-Cruise 3 has been significantly improved with an additional air outlet at the back of the helmet. This results in 70% more airflow compared to the previous model, making the J-Cruise 3 very suitable for warm weather conditions.

Like the Neotec 3 and the GT-Air 3, the J-Cruise 3 is prepared for Sena’s SRL3 communication system, which fits seamlessly into the helmet without disturbing its design or aerodynamics. The longer sun visor from the J-Cruise II has also been carried over to this new model, offering the same visual quality as a high-quality pair of sunglasses.

In the new J-Cruise 3, the chin strap has become much narrower, providing a higher level of comfort. To prepare this new model for the future, the helmet is also approved according to the latest ECE 22.06 safety standard. Naturally, the Shoei J-Cruise 3 can be customised with the patented ‘Shoei Personal Fitting’ system.
